GEORGE FLOYD GLOBAL MEMORIAL 3RD ANNUAL RISE & REMEMBER EVENT
Minneapolis, MN – A candlelight vigil will be held on May 25th at George Floyd Square to
honor the life and legacy of George Floyd as well as those we have lost due to the impacts of
systemic racism. This free public event will start at 8 PM and provide a sacred moment of
reflection and solidarity.
The Rise & Remember: Ubuntu Conference will take place on May 25th and May 26th at Best
Buy HQ. Attendees will get a chance to learn about racial justice and equity, build connections,
and broaden their perspective.
The GFGM Gala will be held on May 26th at Paisley Park, providing an evening of
entertainment, specially curated experiences, and exquisite cuisine while contributing to a cause
that drives systemic change.
Finally, the 3rd Annual Rise & Remember Festival will be held on May 27th at George Floyd
Square from 1 PM to 9 PM to celebrate the work that we have done together in our community.
